The AD-C1200 is designed for music playback, public address and distributed audio in applications that require high output from a ceiling mounted loudspeaker. The AcousticDesign™ Series of installation loudspeakers has been designed for trouble free operation and versatility. Utilizing custom designed transducers and crossover networks, in combination with an acoustically optimized enclosure (AD-C1200BB), the AD-C1200 continues the AD Series philosophy to bring the same versatility and reliability to high-ceiling applications. Each AD-C1200 includes the coaxial transducers, a transformer and a crossover network factory mounted on a steel baffle. The baffle is designed to mount to the QSC enclosure (AD-C1200BB) or to any ~2.5 ft 3 enclosure using industry standard transducer mounting dimensions. A square grille (AD-C1200SG) is available to finish the installation. The 12" woofer is made with a treated paper cone on a steel frame. In the optimized enclosure the usable low frequency of the system extends to 37 Hz. The 1.75" compression driver fires through the center of the woofer and is acoustically mated to the woofer for a smooth transition at crossover. The system achieves 85 degree axisymmetric coverage. The QSC AD-C81TW Ceiling Mount Subwoofer System (White) is designed to supplement audio systems with low-frequency extension--it's acoustically matched to the entire AD Series. The AD-C81TW is rated for 100 watts continuous power handling and can take up to 400-watt peaks. The AD-C81Tw has an 8" woofer with a polypropylene cone for protection in humid environments. The driver has a synthetic rubber surround and works optimally with the large port to deliver excellent low frequency extension below 40 Hz without undesirable port turbulence. It also features a built-in passive low pass filter set at 120 Hz. The filter is defeatable from the front baffle to allow the use of outboard crossovers. QSC's ADCI52ST model from their AcousticDesign "C" Series of in-ceiling speakers delivers exceptional sound quality for background music and paging systems. Featuring an unusually wide frequency range and the ability to deliver higher SPLs, the AcousticDesign Series loudspeakers provide natural sounding lows and transparent highs for a musical sound with low distortion. Coupled with wide and even dispersion, the AD-CI52ST deliver outstanding coverage. The AcousticDesign "C" Series ceiling speakers employ a 5.25" weather-resistant LF transducer incorporating a low distortion fiberglass cone, a 25mm voice coil, and a rubber surround. The HF driver is a 1" pure titanium dome tweeter utilizing a neodymium magnet structure. With its larger, ported enclosure, the AD-CI52ST provides greater low frequency extension and makes an excellent choice for installations requiring shallow install depth - such as cruise ships. The AcousticDesign ceiling speakers are packaged with the backcan, support bracket, tile rails, and grille. For integration with any dƒ©cor, the trim and grille can be painted. The AD-S282H is a 2-way system housed in a ported enclosure made from injection molded, high-impact polystyrene. This enclosure incorporates two 8" weather-resistant, LF transducers with heavy-duty double roll cloth surrounds. These high output versions employ a 1" exit compression HF driver.
